Ocean of Emotion

Ocean of Emotion

A Poem by Calissa Knox
"

A poem I wrote about getting lost in music.

"
I am sinking in a never ending ocean -
The never ending ocean of emotion.

I sink deeper and deeper,
the world is fading like a dream.
I close my eyes in wonder,
forgetting my reality.

I am letting myself drown in the ocean of emotion.
I have never ever felt so alive.

Sometimes you FEEL so deeply, that you are surrounded by it with no way out. It's like being awake from a thousand year dream. Like when you lose someone, you feel empty. Then after a while you start to feel again, and it feels like you have never felt before.

Your poem is both beautiful and poignant. The way you describe your emotions is both vivid and poetic. Your use of imagery and metaphor is particularly effective, and it helps to create a sense of wonder and introspection in the reader. I think that your poem is a testament to the power of art to help us process our emotions and connect with others.

I love how your poem was short yet it contained so munched motion and imagery. It went beyond the words to a deeper level, I can also relate to it a lot. Great job!

I am not good at reviewing poems, as I am just a beginner.
But the title of the poem itself is unique that it couldn't stop myself from reading it.
So here I am, it was truly amazing. Short but powerful. Excellent piece of writing.
