Burial

Burial

A Poem by Reticent
"

This is an Ottava Rima type poem with some characteristics of an acrostic type. The subject is relatively straight forward as I'm sure you'll realize while reading. Enjoy. :)

"

Ignorant of such cruel intention and spite

Longing for silence to make fragile this hurt

Amiss with untimely reckoning of night

Yet starving for dimness, for resting in dirt

Haunting my own, but a caterpillar’s plight

Enveloped, it worsens, to become less alert

Rain drops above me, serendipity be known

End is upon me, under earth load and stone
