Chapter one. Gaining my wings

the begining

The wind blows, my wings expand and I am lifted. Soaring through the air. Nothing is more important to a bird then first flight. I see the beautiful sun glinting off shiny rocks below me. I feel the wind I am creating, it fluffs my feathers and pushes me back. At this precise moment I feel as if I am doing exactly what fate had intended for me in this moment. How long had I been flying? Hours? Maybe. Days? Who knew?
