Where the Dead DanceA Poem by Kaspar Carrthe dead are finally at peace
Among the dark, through the mist
Lay the laughing bones. Chills the skin gently kissed From chiseled words on stones. The candles flame, and chants of names Asked to show and speak. Offerings made and sacrifices paid With blood from cuts on their cheek. "Spirits here, laid in tears Come from who you hold dear. Leave your fear, draw us near And with you power... Appear!" © 2012 Kaspar CarrAuthor's Note
