Postcard from a broken heart

Postcard from a broken heart

A Poem by Kaspar Carr
"

there is just so mcuh happing

"

Flying at one week an hour
An airliner slowly unzipped a milky blue heaven
You'll be over somebodies winter this afternoon
Someone else's spring tomorrow
Oh how I long to escape gravity with you
From both definitions of that heavy word
The sun from just below the horizon
Gave me a tangerine never mind wink from a silver wingtip
As we both altered course like the tear on my upturned cheek
