Rainbows and Claps

Rainbows and Claps

A Poem by Carl Douglas Sinderby
"

A poem in connection with the global crisis.

"
Rainbows and claps are keeping spirits alive
colors and music save peoples lives,
Front line workers are mending our futures
politicians are planning our return through computers,
Tests and trials and media attacks
we watch and hope we see all the facts,
Home alone or locked down with family
we find things to do to adjust to this calamity,
Never has life been so simple to say
if we stay at home we save people that way,
Global hugs and community reach
can this mend our world with humanity's speech,
Remarkable opportunity's may come out of this
after our epidemic has stopped with its virus fist,
for the people who have flown up to the sky
we will one day carry on but for them we send love and say goodbye.
