It's possible today

That you could speak

Words that encourage

The broken and weak

Calling to all

Through what you say

Too hold their head up

As they face the day

 

It's possible today

You could understand

As a young child

Now takes your hand

And tells you of a day

Thats varied and free

And tells you that schools

A good place to be

 

It's possible today

That you could inspire

The next generation

To spark the fire

Poets and Sages

Leaders and Kings

Speak boldly to these

And see the change that it brings

 

It's possible today

That you could achieve

All that you dream

If you only believe

Keep hold of the vision

In all that you do

For dreams such as yours

Today do come true

 

It's possible today

That you may talk

Of a lifetimes journey

And a sacrifical walk

A great wealth of wisdom

Is caught in your face

As you recount your story

With fervor and grace

 

It's possible today

That a baby's cry

May make you stop and think

How the years tend to fly

Mothers and Daughters

Fathers and Sons

And the hopes that we've placed

In these little ones

 

Its possible today

You can change a world

For deep within you

Much potential is held

So live for the present

Embarce every day

For the possibilities are endless

First off, this poem gives another hope and the power to believe that he or she can do so much good for another if they only believe in themselves. I am impressed with how your words are serving two purposes at the same time - giving hope to others and to any person whom is reading the poem. Ohh my friend ,i swear whenever i read some of your words,its like a very different world
how hopeful and dreamy and brave ,and onlooking to a future so great
how inspiring every word,how you say it starts with a dream
with courage with inspiration ,with a belief that still you could

it reminds me of the redounded "i have a dream" speech except that this one is celebrating the present rather than contemplating the past. either way, very inspirational and uplifting. reminds us of the potential we have a human beings in todays society, like a feel-good poem highlighting the good whilst the government slowly corrupts the freedom we have left. great write!

This is almost like an inspirational speech :) I like it.. the lines "Its possible today, that you can inspire, the next generation, to spark the fire" are my favourite. they seem to echo some idea in me. :) Awesome
