Once Again

Once again
we say goodbye
With tears unshed
hidden in our eyes

You come into my life
and then you leave
Memories drift away
on the summer breeze

I love you
more than words can say  
But there's no truth left
in the games we play

It's a tug of war
between head and heart
A battle of wills
that tears us apart

 

Oh how I wish
that you would stay
For one more moment
one more day

That we would finally surrender
into the arms of love
Let go of our fears
and learn to trust

But instead you turn
and walk  away
Leaving too many words
left to say

Unspoken promises
that slowly die
While pains reflection
dances In our eyes

And I try so hard
not to cry
As once again

Sometimes tis harder to express what hurts deeply.. hurt isn't easily explained, too much involved, too many emotions and tangents in that one word 'hurt'. Seems to me you've flown away tho.. expressed how in part, and, maybe in doing that, you reached a place with some kind of a welcome. So hope so, you deserve it..
