Space and Time

Space and Time

A Poem by Caroline Hart
"

A snippet of emotion.

"

You are my space and time, my formless and eternal.

You are my past, present and future.

I surrender to your gravitational pull, for as hard as I will myself to leave I cannot, I am bound to you as you are to me.

United in an energy that keeps us close, our paths forever crossed. I’m lost in the vacuum of your eyes, falling deeply into you.

 I still fall for you,

every time.

“… falling deeply into you.
I still fall for you,
every time.” These last few lines gorgeously tie the poem together. This poem expresses the idea of soulmates so beautifully.

Marvelous writing! It felt like two celestial bodies, being pulled closer by their gravitational pulls, yet the repeats over and over again.....maybe more like a comet....returning every now and then for "seconds".....:)
