A Poem by carpe noctem

Remember when...
remember then...
going on a treasure hunt
half smoked cigaretts in dirty ashtrays
adventures to shows
I still have the scars
getting lost in frisco
I loved "thee parkside" bathrooms
talking for eight hours on the phone
I still haven't beaten 8:27:32
we we(')re the clyptomaniacs
salt from CJs
What about the bleachers
stairway to heaven
Those hours I spent talking you down
most bittersweet moments in my life
You invited me to swingdancing
my shoes will never be the same
I just met you but you're cool
you don't even know my name
so much time spent IMing
it's funny how you're closer than most
Watching the sun crawl out of his bed
time well wasted
Carrows late at night
or early in the morning
The time I spent with you
was time well wasted

wow... this is a lovely piece... I love the nostaligia and the imagery is really beautiful... it seems almost sad but happy at the same time... maybe it's the sentimentality... or maybe it's just me ~smiles~ beautiful write ;)

...and salt hmmm? I was always more a ketchup & mustard girl... oh and the odd ashtray ~laughs~

Nice.
I like it a lot because it's organization is rather unordinary, and coz of the use of phrases like these ,,Watching the sun crawl out of his bed
time well wasted,,.
Your conclusion ,,The time I spent with you
was time well wasted,, , is by far the best part of the poem- very touchy
