The Florida Sun Could NEVER Burn This Much.

The Florida Sun Could NEVER Burn This Much.

A Poem by Vanmoriel

Do you think maybe
Just for once

We could lie here
And watch the stars burn out

Watch the sun rise

And light up your eyes
Lay in my arms
Forever

Well you blew your f*****g chance
When you got in her pants
Did you ever concider this?

I never wanted you
You could never do
You aren't the one I thought you were

I hope you know how sick I am
I hope you know how it tares me up
I hope you choke on the words you say to her

This is the last time
No more chances
I hope you're happy
With your decision.

Don't call me baby
I'm not yours anymore
Don't call me by that name

I'll never forget
The words you'll regret
You'll miss me when you wake up
Won't you b***h.

There's no I love you
Just a f**k you
And a goodbye note
Written in lipstick.

I'm leaving this hell
Leaving you in your cell
How sweet are those Florida oranges now?

This is very very strong, and for me sometimes my best poems come out of rants of pure emotion. :]

So great job. I know the feeling of betrayal and anger you describe here, and you've done so violently and while reading I am just thrown into the words and can feel the hate and sadness mixed with frustration and loathing.
