Her Secret Garden

Her Secret Garden

A Poem by Carson Kramer

I entered her secret garden to touch, taste, and smell.
To revel in color's wonders, wares, and wiles.
Her secret garden called my name in whispered yells.
She opened it to me.
Allowed me inside.
Told me to delight in all its shine.
To touch the new blooms that I had cultivated.
To water the new seedlings I had planted.
To hoe the soil of her soul,
To fertilize the new way of her secret garden.
To nurture a more fruitful harvest of beauty
and sustenance.
Her secret garden has weeds to eradicate.
I'll not use poisons, nor gnashing blades.
I shall plant vigorous, beautiful plants
To slowly choke those weeds that steal beauty
and pilfer her confidence.
Her secret garden is now mine.
To task I have set.

About
You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
