We danced love down from the stars
The chorus played a tune from afar
No sin in our touch, we loved from the hearts
The hearts loved from the father above
Seeds of phoenix sown into the dark
In time the fruit will find its righteous path
I ask you to trust me, I ask you to enjoy this dance
When we get to the end and the sun sets into dark
Then we will see the light of the thousand stars
I never wish to bring you any harm
Just come along with me and tell me everything about who you are.
Wow. I was mixed with emotion when I read this over. I felt for you, the author, because I've felt like I've wanted someone to just come with me and not speak a word, and just come along. I also felt anxious to find out if the girl goes for the dance..All else aside, very well written. I enjoyed this poem very much!!

A beautiful, charming, and slightly seductive piece that is full of warmth and honesty. A deeply romantic poem that carried me away, into the stars, which is very hard to do.
