Is this the end my friend?

Is this the end my friend?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

I'm tire of war. I'm tire of naysayers of peace. Is blood and death is what we will leave for the next generation?

"

Is this the end my friend?

I saw children being killed in the Middle East .
They are killing babies.
So many mama's and babies being killed.
Where is God?
Where are the Prophets of peace?

Please lord.
Stop the killing of the innocent.
Allow the gardens of life and minds to grow without fear.

Is this the end my friend?
Jesus told us. Hurt a child. You create pain in him.
Poor Jesus must be crying a million tears for the one million children
dying monthly of starvation.

The guns are a-blazing.
Great cities are falling.
Israel turn the tables.
Once was the prey. Now accomplished killer/predator of people in their way.

There is no room in paradise for men who authorize killing of people and destroying cities.
This is the work of evil.

I believe the world turning a blind eye.
Leaving small country to countries hiding their true reasons to search and destroy.

I go to the quiet forest.
I pray.
Stop the guns.
Stop the bleeding of poor babies, woman and men trying to hold on to their home and cities.
The blood increases everyday.
The blood bath added more war and killing.
Hate is alive and well in our world.

Brother's killing brother. Internal struggle destroying once great countries.
What will be left when we kill  all the kindness that is left?

Who is crying for the misplaced Libyan and Palestinian?
Israel must stop pushing people away from their homeland
and Libya must regain wisdom.

I'm tire of war.
Where are the gentle hands of peace?
Where are the voices of love to stop the madness?

Is this the end my friend?
Are all of our hands soaked deep in  blood?
We don't see the misery around us?

Was an old myth.
Where Soldiers would not fight anymore.
Where greed and hate lost strength standing alone.

War is a sin.
Killing women and children for the profit of war.
Make any country involved guilty as the Soldiers or country doing the killing.

Time for people of peace to stand together everywhere.

If you stand for nothing. Don't raise your voice in disappointment.
What will you do when your child will march off to war because you did
not give a nickle.

War is a sin, my friend.

humans are power hungry beings... some keep on feeding the fires of greed... the worst thing is that when the fire blows up for it reaches its limits then war will be the result... war and its drastic effects... how can we stop war on this conflicting human nature, the clash of personal beliefs and hunger for something more... it’s tiring at times that humans never learned from the mistakes of the past… like everything keeps on reaping itself… a cycle that never ends… I often wonder if the hands of karma and fate are part of this… mother nature and the next generation are suffering for some neglected to thing about the effects of war into a child’s mind or no child has lived to see the next future for they have suffer the consequences of this conflict which is death and lastly nature and its inhabitants are slowly dying as well… Lies and Truth are mixed up, turning into a confusion that end up in war and the understanding each other’s point of view is totally erase by anger fueled with greed making both parties blind from the truth…
a very expressive piece mr. Cayote…
thought-provoking as well….
Brilliant!!!

We have seen enough killing fields....
A soldier behind the machine never knew the path of the projectile..
He operates it as per his books..
War is what he was menat for..
But War is tears, blood and orphans..

The powerful lines bring in tears.... Let me shed a drop for the souls, whom we never let to grow..

This really pushed forward to me. Touched me intensely. There seems to be a whole lot of war going around the world. Seems my country too is on the verge of breaking out; we're pushing the Somalia militants out of the country and into their country. Though all the intentions began as good, I have not an inkling what to believe any more. The death toll is rising, insecurity, instead of falling in the country seems to have doubled, and this seems reason enough to push harder into conflict with the militants. I sigh so many times a day thinking on this. War is consuming not only the resources, the links forged, but most importantly LIFE. A lot of life is lost daily as we watch and pray Coyote. I question sometimes the validity of my prayers. Will mankind ever just settle down and accept each other? Will we ever have a universal code of conduct that excludes war?

I'm haughty at the possibility unfortunately. My faith in majority of mankind is waning and very quickly. But what should a 20 year old do but what he can? :D

Thanks Coyote. I got you on this.

Did you know that here in America the cause of abortion is championed alongside the cause of environmentalists? Heck of a thing. They need a new slogan: "Save the trees . . . kill the children."

The wars are an endless mess. I don't hate the concept of war, of fighting for justice or righteousness, but there is not a perfect war. These endless conflicts need final resolve. A good piece; thank you for sharing.

This is such a beautifully written piece. I saw just a few mistakes that you might want to fix so they won't be distracting, but, nevertheless, I was awed. It's horrible that humans can be so cruel. "Time for people of peace to stand together everywhere." Beautiful line.

I am much in agreement with you, war is sad and killing horrible! I never watch the new if I can help it, It hurts too much....I carry those images with me and even worse create images to fill in what they don't show...nightmare inducing.
I too pray that a day will come when war no longer tears our world apart.

My dear Coyote,
You openly and directly say what I hope so many of us feel - your heart and soul cries out for 'the end.' Alas, I fear the true enemy - that is war itself - can never be defeated. Yet, you have given me here some sense that one day we will all say in one voice that we shall no longer stand by and watch people die. Thank you my friend -
Much love -
Rosalind

Deep.. and lovely. I liked this a lot, I liked the emotion. I also think the same thing, how can someone kill? Wonderful.

Wars. There are so many kinds of war. There are the wars on the battlefield with soldier against soldier, soldiers who not so long ago were children themselves. There are the wars where soldiers and civilians and enemy combatants all die in vain. There are wars in the city streets where hatred is bred and it is my will be done instead of Thy will be done. There are silent wars behind the closed curtains and locked doors across the street. There are so many ways to kill a child.
