No shame in love

No shame in love

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Love is everything. Everything is love.

"
                        No shame in love

(Received some motivation from Ben Jonson)

I confessed to the lonely moon, how beautiful and magnificent you are.
I told the stars and the sky you have seized my heart and thoughts.
You beautiful smile had bewitched my life.

I dream of you when we are apart.
My fair maiden I feel I have fallen into a undeserved love.
I plead with open arms and heart.
You will accept me. My simple words to be my pledge of love for you forever.

Beautiful maiden whispered. There is  no shame in love. My dear lover.
Our subdued love had me madly waiting for you to confirm the mercy of
the gift of love. Love is rare and precious.  You have assured me often with kind
gifts of poetry and many slow dances. You didn't overstep boundaries and
allowed me to gain  confidence and be fearless in the emotion of love.

The moon and stars shined bright as two people danced near the peaceful Monterey bay.
Love was alive and could not extinguished by the restraints of life borders and highways.

First off and is not the first writing I read from you I am always amazed by your relationship to nature and by that I don't mean only trees and plants but the nature of all things it is as if you have silence and therefore a view onto things that normally evades some of us. Confessing to the lonely moon then is both metaphorical and reflective. Then as the reflection shimmers the image of a maiden comes about. As we finally discover that the moon is shining upon a relationship that bears no bounds and spares efforts to be found.

Enchanting!

Thankyou

Spoke to me in a way.
A beautiful description of a pure hearted love.

Life's borders.....having different backgrounds, races, religions.....can make a relationship more difficult, but they can work. Love can rise above the petty prejudices of life and can accept differences. Your words are ultra romantic and velvety soft, John. Two small suggestions, though. In this line, "My fair maiden I feel I have fell" should read, "I feel I have fallen" and "allow me to gain confidence " should be "allowed me to gain confidence." Your poetry is always a pleasure to read. Lydi**

Thank you Lydia for the help. I truly appreciate.
Last two lines are magnified around the versions of love; lust & life. Quiet impressive.

Always an honor to read your insights.
Often poets write of pain, and angst. But when you write of Love, Devotion and Passion, you take it to another level. Thanks.

There is an innocence and freshness in this work. The words you paint with the subject of love transcend all time and distance.
