We shall live, we shall know tears and laughter
Hello March, the cold Winter is almost done.
I am far-away from where I belong.
Once, Spring was the days of rebirth and new hope.
I volunteered for every deployment at Fort Hood,
trying to forget dear Clinton, Michigan.
In my dreams,
I saw a  beautiful face,
the butterfly kisses days and things so far away.
I sought the Hemingway journey.
Drank whiskey in Paris,
stayed in the Mountain of the Swiss,
drank and sang song with Russian soldiers.
I found peace and salvation in Honduras,
doing human-care missions.
Building churches and schools,
medical teams treating people in the deep mountains.
I re-gain my mind after seeing Africa.
Starvation and desert,
taught me, I had enough.
March is here and I shall be coming help dear Clinton, Michigan.
If you have not forgotten me,
replied to my letter and if you want, I can come home to you.
Dear Jenny,
I do understand,
wayward man can return too late,
kind woman, can wait so long only.
Love you, needing you and thank you for the easy days, the good days.
