My lunaA Poem by Coyote PoetryJust words My Luna I searched the world over for you, I prayed to the midnight moon for someone to excite my soul on the four corners of the earth. Myth and tale wishes brought me to the dark city and the deep drinks in the city that never sleep, New York. I wrote in a journal with the Johnny Walker near. "Midnight moon, so beautiful, so bright, the dark city had stole my view of you. Dear Luna, gentle goddess, where are you tonight? Remember Paris, you sat with me and you whispered. Dear Coyote, my dancing coyote. I have not forgotten us. I want to know your sadness, I want to swim in your joy. I have loved you from afar and now I love you when you are near. I want to kiss you a thousand times, I want us bare naked to the sun and the moon always, I want us to dance by the light of the stars." I drank the Johnny Walker down and I made the 2 am wish. Dear Luna, lonely is the night when you are far away from me, please come to New York, let's dance in the Central Park together. Making the stars smile and my heart glad. I sat alone in the Central Park, by the quiet water fountain and a beautiful lady in a black dress and kind smile came to me. She wrapped her legs around me and she whispered. "Dancing Coyote, I have adored you for 15,000 days, you fought and you fought, you thought, you were alone. I never left you my poet, my soldier, my blessing. I am here with you tonight, we shall burn some sage and find a place, where love shall never die." I whispered dear Luna, Woes and sorrows led me to you my exquisite lady, my lovely lady. I will bleed no-more with you near. Dancing Coyote © 2019 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
