![]() Kiss me and say hello..A Poem by Coyote Poetry![]() Old muse is alive.![]() Kiss me and say hello.. The Jazzy songs had saved me. The jazzy songs, I needed. Once on a blue moon night, I told the prettiest girl in Michigan. I loved her so. Now the deep Jazz songs make me remember once, I loved "love." Now I loved the dark Jazz bars, now I love the whiskey and ladies dressed in tight red dresses, who can make me smile and laugh. I am listening to the song "Elevator to heaven" and pretty and sassy Lilac sat with me. She kissed my face cheeks and my lips and she told me. You damn poets seek the dirt of life, love reasons to be drunk and you love writing to dawn every night. You need excuses to cry to paper. Johnnie, Johnnie. Please come with me, take and hold my hips and dance with me to the Jazzy songs. Please whisper you love me, lie or not? I do love to hear the sweet words. She took me to the dance floor and she whispered to me. You loco writers believe you can save someone, you can't save someone, they must save themselves. I kissed her lips, tasting the black Velvet whiskey on her red lips. I told her, you are easy like my favorite whiskey, the Black Velvet on a chilly night. You are as gentle as a Summer kiss near the Lake St. Clair. Beautiful Lilac, you make me believe love can be sweet. Please kiss me and say hello. Dancing Coyote © 2023 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
