Slip and fall..

Slip and fall..

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Almost a Valentine's day poem.

"
Slip and fall..
I requested some kind words. I asked her to tell me. I love you.
Please tell me, you will wait for me and please make these seconds, we have left.
A tattoos memory on my skin and heart.
Her eyes, filled with tears and each gentle kiss given and received.
We knew, we will wandering away from a kind love.
And our roads would never cross again.
We speak few words, for we have spoken our goodbyes.
You were going to Chicago and I was going to California.
We knew. Love wasn't enough to keep our hope of love alive.
Today will be our last day together, today will be the last days I could touch your face.
Kiss your tan shoulders. I reach for you and we fall into a embrace.
You whispered softly. People like us. We will slip and fall.
We will learn regret. We will try to forget.
You were my first love and you taught me.
Love can be kind and gentle. Life is never fair.
I whispered to her. In California. I will tell the setting sun your name.
I will tell the sea, how beautiful you are. I will always remembering your beautiful face
and sweet voice. Please come with me to California.
She kissed me once and she kissed me again. She told me.
I can't be a soldier's wife. You need your war and I am a nurse.
I want to heal and you are seeking conflict.
I am the day and you are the night.
We will rarely know the same place.
I left her on a Summer day. I learn if you set a bird free.
They will never return.
Tonight by the sea. I told the Pacific. I love and miss you dear Julie.
