I remember you...

I remember you...

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

My number five poem for April. Poetry month.

"

(My goal 30 new poems for Poetry month. April. Number five.)

I remember you…

1- Once I knew you..

I was your Doc Holliday and you were my Kate.

We knew the whiskey, the sin and the skin.

Once we showed our scars and I wrote poetry on your pale skin.

Now you create a self-made cell, your private prison.

I hold you close and I whisper to you.

I remember you, I remember us.

2- Cat and mouse..

She was more cat than mouse.

Her eyes saw me as a prey to chase and capture.

I knew already. I would give in.

I knew a woman decide everything.

They will give you everything or they will give you nothing.

I accepted my part willingly and I prayed she did, adore me.
