My beautiful Daniela

My beautiful Daniela

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Sweet memories of youth.

My beautiful Daniela.

(Written when my heart and soul was alive and free to love without fear. Written in November 1978)

My world wild and crazy.

I'm slow down by a look of beauty and softness.

Her blue eyes clear as a early morning.

Her long blond hair blowing in the wind by the small lake.

Her white summer dress showing a perfect body in the summer sun.

Her gift of a sweet smile leave me wishing to know her name.

I follow her.

She stops. Tells me I know you.

You are the laughing American.

I was known for my drinking and being a joker.

We walk together.

She tells me all her dreams.

I tell her my dreams.

Our hands fall together on a beautiful hot summer day.

By the light of  candles and sweet red German wines we begin to learn to  love.

Soft kisses lead to passion and desires only seen by the darkness of the lonely  night.

Now I have my lady in dressed in white.

My lady who teaches  me to love being alive.

I was complete for the first time.

My Daniela, always complete.

In clothing or waiting for me nude on our soft bed.

She is a gift to my eyes and heart.

She fulfilled my soul and spirit.

I bring her close.

Whisper you are my dream.

You would be my Angel in sweet dreams till life leave my body.

I love you my beautiful Daniela.

Author's Note

Coyote Poetry
A old poem. Youth is the sweetest wine. We need to swim in the mystery and passion of the opening of true love. Usually happen once once in a lifetime.

Featured Review

Line 2--I'm "slowed" down by a look (vision might work better here) of beauty and softness.
Line 6--Her gift of a sweet smile "leaves" me wishing to know her name.
Line 17--Now I have my lady dressed in white.
Line 26--You "will" be my Angel in sweet dreams till life "leaves" my body.

I just love poems and stories which refer to passion and intimate love in a respectful way. This poem was a joy to read and makes one reflect on that special love that may have found its way to our life. A beautiful and lovely write!

Indeed love completes you and without finding true love one is like a lost traveler in the vast expanses of a desert...you do realize this and all your writes are resonant with that one theme that enlivens the mundane existence that is love in it's true , vibrant spirit.
