What is real?

What is real?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Many questions are asked. Few people can speak the truth.

 Poetry, my dear friends,
is a sacred incarnation of a smile.
Poetry is a sigh that dries the tears.
Poetry is a spirit who dwells in the soul,
                   who nourishment is the heart,
                   who wine is affection.
Poetry that comes not in this form is a false messiah.
                                  Kahlil Gibran.

                                   Perfection

Keep me away from the wisdom which does not cry,
The philosophy which does not make me laugh
and the greatness which does not bow before children.
                                    Kahlil Gibran

                                   The unbeliever  (The Quran-surah)
                           1. Say: Unbelievers.
                           2. I do not serve him that which you serve.
                           3. Nor do you serve him whom I serve.
                           4. Nor am I going to serve that which you serve.
                           5. Nor are you going to serve him whom I serve.
                           6. You shall have your religion and I shall have my religion.
                                             Quran

                         What is real?

I watched the news on CNN. Men trying to confuse us with double talk.
We were warned of a time where the government would want to control all things.
Something should be easy to understand.

The separation of religion and Government.
The Federal and state government are not banks.
Religion is a private matter.
Giving money to banks and loan companies was a bad sign.
Do they give all the poor men and woman who lost their homes and businesses a low interest loan too? No they did not.

If you study real common sense. If you know history. New Testament and Quran are based on love and forgiveness. Man's change the words to profit the world of money and powerful nations.

Violence bring hate. Death bring more death. Blood of father's will follow into the son's and daughter's. Create wall of new hate and desire for revenge never to end.

Today few places are not touched by war.
War blocked out the real problems.
The Gulf of Mexico was killed off with oil.
Nuclear waste dumped into the Asia seas.
30 million will died of starvation this year in Africa.

Brother's are killing brother's in all parts of this world.
Religion is not the problem.
Hate and foolishness is the problem.
A bomb exploded in the USA.
Killed men/woman and children in Oklahoma city.
A bomb exploded in Baghdad open market killing innocent shoppers.
Children in the kindergarten in the USA are learning to take cover if
there is a attack.
Did we lose our minds? When did the world fall on the path of hate and destruction?

A eye for a eye world will end with no winners.
Time to lock-up all the world leaders in a room.
Like the days of Unions.
Can't come out till all problems are fixed.
The country with internal struggle must gather the men and woman of wisdom.
Have peace talks and quit killing their brother's and sister's.
Must stop the blood.

Brother's must stop killing their fellow country men and women.
Powerful nations need to sent Soldiers with food and water to the starving nations.
I'm Ojibwa/Mexican.

I believe will take the circle of life to find peace.
Need all races to demand peace and end to war.
Pollution and destruction of this planet must stop.
It won't matter if you are a Muslim, Christian or a believer of nothing.
A nuclear weapon will put all of us on the path of no return.

I pray the madness must end.
For the sake of the children everywhere.
No-one want their babies to die.
We must change direction and allow our children to grow-up without fear and great hope.

Poet and writers must lead the way. Need to hear voices strong and loud. Someone must lead this world from a destiny of pain and destruction.

(Paraphrases)

Christianity: Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Islam: Hurt no one..that no one would hurt you
Buddism: Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful
Confucianism: Seek to be in harmony with all your neighbors.
Judaism: That which is hateful to you...do not do to your neighbor

Its amazing how we pick and choose the scriptures that "justify" the way we mistreat each other. You spoke words that the world desperately needs to hear right now.

Beautiful. So many valid points from an realists point of view on the bullshit that is this world. Great writing and I liked all the examples about the absurdity of this world. You presented a dystopia(reality) in the middle but tried to solve it right to the end, and that is what I liked the best about your work. Beautiful

This is very truthful and amazing. There are so much words here that are very descriptive and easy to read. I like how you show the reader so much than just tell it. You put your statements in incredible sentences. Very amazing. :)

You make so many strong solid points in this piece. governments and I mean all of them are corrupt out for their own gain. How many times have wars been started over profit or oil which brings profit. we live in greedy times and shed blood for a piece of paper. Really that is all money is. Ours is green paper made from cotton. Death does breed more death and anger breeds hate which breed violence. We should learn to love others and respect their differences. I know there is a limitation on this like all things. Forgiving people for past actions is a huge step in stopping the madness, but to be honest we can't all come together as a nation let alone the world. I love to see the end of war all together, but i question if it is possible. Will it ever be possible? those who know nothing of war and know nothing of having to take a life should not be allowed to make the decision of going to war. Fat cats who sit in offices shouldn't be given the power to tell someone else to defend our country and kill others because their government is different from ours. they may think twice about going to war if they themselves have to go out on the front lines every time they send our troops over to some other country. Just my thoughts. This is a thought provoking piece that can bring about great discussion. I support the men and women who give their lives for your country and out freedoms for they are doing their jobs. I think we shouldn't make them risk their lives over money and oil.

I pray for the sake of the next generation that this stops. The earth has been raped repeatedly. Much like our children that have fallen prey to molestation. There's pure evil in our time right now. And I fear we have yet to see the darkest days. The oldest wisest writings and teachings warn of this day. Lets hope and pray we escape the path of destruction.

If you convey any art that speaks against the destruction...I am all for it! This is profound love and well voiced! Control...religion...government..all in place to herd us whilst we watch the mainstream carnage we are force fed and what do they get up to when our heads are turned?
Yes..indeed....we need to awaken! Big time!
"There is no division.....we are all equal."
Great work hon!

There's absolutely no doubt that you wrote this with a worried heart, the experience of a varied life as soldier and civilian, insight and sensitivity, and how i agree with 90% of what you've said.

Sad to say, I don't think things will alter. As long as power and money remains the be all and end of all that is considered good and fine in and on this planet, there will be will be wars, deceit and all else despicable. We have to change our priorities and when I say we I mean WE .. each and every one of us. Do you think that can happen?

As always, your writing makes me and so many others think and feel .. thank you, John.
