A Poem by Alexander
"

Watching a lover melt before your eyes as you melt with them.

"

Our contours were carved from black ice

My hands outstretched towards yours

Forever outside my stiff grasp

Unblinking eyes forced gaze

All I can do is stare back

Into your crystal iris

A frozen waterfall draped

Around your graceful shoulders

Powdered in diamond dust dandruff

In between your thighs

The rapids raged silently

Your trembling figure

Frostbitten lips

Soaked in frigid tears

As the light danced within us

I watched your clear eyes grow cloudy

My tongue melted in my mouth

And there in the harsh heat

We were reduced to a puddle

Where our feet once stood
