Cut me and I bleed

Hurt me and I feel pain

Touch me and you will awaken

the light of desire within me

 

For love lies dormant

in the depth of my heart

a lost dream

an echo of things longed for

yet unseen

 

Wild and untamed

boundless and alive

love fights to be set free

from its prison of dreams

 

I long to experience

the fullness of love

to be entwined forever

in the arms of a kindred soul

to love and be loved

to float away on a cloud of delight

 

I want to become lost

in the eyes of the one I love

to melt into a kiss of pure bliss

to tremble forever

in loves embrace

forever cherished

forever safe

An exceptional thought on relinquishing one's self to completely dive in to love! Sometimes reality lives up to the fantasy. I think only for a short time... Then we transition to that stable lasting love. It comes full circle again for passion, fun, immersion when time permits... It's called - after the nest is empty :)
Love finds us at the most unexpected times. I think we need to grab it when it swings our way... You never know what life will bring to throw in a curve ball.
