Heat Rises

At least I can dream :)

I can hear the sound of his heart 
beating in his chest
It is the sound of life 
playing to its own individual beat and rhythm 

I hear the whisper of my name 
as it flows unbidden from his lips 
It floats across waves of sound 
until it settles into the deep parts of my soul
like a gentle kiss it touches me 
fills me with its warmth 

His love frees me
lifts me up and carries me 
upon winds of change 
into to a future 
I could never have dreamt of 

In his arms 
I am free 
Laughter fills my spirit 
and I overflow with joy 

Finally safe 
in the strong arms of love
I drift away 
on tides of passion 
that enthrall me 

I float upon moonbeams 
as his love penetrates my being
Encapsulating me in waves of delight
taking me to a place beyond my wildest dreams 

I am alive in his love 
healed by his kisses
that dance with free abandon 
upon the softness of my skin 

Every cell in my body tingles 
in the beauty of his touch 
Heat rises 
pumping the blood of passion through my veins 

His love engulfs me 
and I melt into his burning flesh 
Melded together as one 
we ride upon waves of ecstasy 

Soaring higher and higher
with every beat of our hearts 
Until we reach a place 
beyond the highest stars  

Then the fire of our passion
burns to embers at last 
and we collapse 
content and at peace 
into the beautiful warmth 

of each others arms

Every stanza in your wonderfully love-oozing poem has its own magic formula but the one i quote is so full of hope in love, it moved me to leave a review, to let you know how much the warmth and vision seeps into public vision.into me. Beautiful. (You too, have similar hair but only that fair in the summer, darn it!)
