The Noisemaker

The Noisemaker

A Poem by Penelope Lee
"

Limerick Practice

"

There once was a woman named Susan who sat on a trumpet.

After some time, she found her behind formed a lump in it.

And so one day, she turned around, and heard an awful sound.

She thought it was coming from down in the ground.

She came to realize, that it only played when she bumped it.

the picture is a start-
the more drawn out
so you laugh more at the end.
but it did make me smile

I think you're getting there Penelope Lee.
The whole of the fourth line here is redundant
The words 'One day' in line five also.

Even then it won't be a proper limerick but will loosely resemble one.
I liked the story in it. It's a funny story.

Keep at it.
