A Poem by CrimsonShinigami
"

One by one come all together

"
Playing role by role so says Shakespeare
I don't know my lines and yet I play along with them
Everyone around me nothing but puppets to the end
Can I ever make the right choice
Enough is done when we all die
Say I only know how to live for only one person in my life

To those words I make my lies
How on earth do I follow that
Rarely anytime to think before acting
Only silence mends it to the end
Using my surroundings and play with others lives
Go here go there
Hence for all tonight is the night

Lying is my defect
If only I had a script
Fake me is already consuming my mind
Effort was all for nothing

It is a real conundrum to decide whether to toe the line or be ourselves while others toe the line as "Everyone around me nothing but puppets to the end". But, if we lie to ourselves we really do undo ourselves; we live fake lives with fake hopes and dreams and real problems because "Fake me is already consuming my mind". I really enjoyed this piece which gets the reader thinking about their own parts in this world Shakespeare called a stage.
