Is this really the end

All I did was deliver a secret

fresh from the oven to my father

The next day it happened way to fast

Barging into his room while sleeping

he didn't even flinch not even once

everyone has left and it's just us alone

his eyes fixed to the ground

finally looks up with eye filled with regret

couldn't help but smile to his grief

months later one scream turned it all

running to his cell in that short period of time

his eyes looked at mine with disbelief

a smile crept onto his lips

goodbye he said and crack

his neck broke by his very own chains
