Temple Walls

A Poem by Charlie!
"

From 2009 or 2010 written in my incarceration.

"
I beg of you to tell me one thing,
Just what do you expect?
Turn the page? Write me off for dead?
How soon we all forget...

Unfortunately for you, I see through your rouse.
I've played your game, endured your abuse.

I've worked into your mold, no matter how dark or cold.
Unto you the perfect man emerged but his essence was but sold.

When the walls but fell, I found only this:
Myself again and nothing less.
