A Sense of Truth

A Sense of Truth

A Poem by Charlie!
"

Partly written in summer of 2012, Revised and re-formatted as of today.

"
Dark eyes reveal the truth.
They look away as if they've seen it all before.

Open mouths speak the truth.
They say I've never seen your face but I swear I love you!

Impatient fingers feel the truth.
They long for the carnal desires.

Closed ears heed the truth.
They hear the horns of angry traffic.

Dead taste buds savor the truth.
They swish the poison like holy antiseptic.

But an open heart knows the truth.
