Cavity

Cavity

A Poem by Charlie
"

How it feels to be slightly germophobic.

"

Never ever skip brushing your teeth.

Cause if you do you might get a cavity.

You’ll have to go to the doctor.

And it will be your fault.

And we don't have time for that

not when we have so much to worry about.

Never ever touch your face.

Cause if you do you could get sick.

Germs could get in your mouth, eyes, or nose.

We can’t get sick now.

Not when we have school tomorrow.

Never ever fall asleep.

Cause if you do you won’t be awake to worry,

worrying might keep it away.

Don't you think?

Never ever try to ignore me.

It’s futile to fight yourself.

So go wake up and brush your teeth.

I'm aware this isn't really a poem, I was aiming more for slam poetry so how do you think I did?
