NEAR PERFECT
Of you there was a photograph near perfect that I saw
Holding a perfect rose that wasn’t near perfect at all
Your hands were of grace and beauty a love to behold
The gentleness of your fingers wrapped in the petals fold
Your near perfect blue eyes pierced my sorely aching soul
A smile so sweet and loving framed near perfect on your face
Your glitter lips were plump and full of warm embrace
Your heart so full of love, passion and sensuality
Everything about you says near perfect quality
Your graceful arms outstretched to all you hold as dear
Not letting go but squeezing tight from all the world you fear
Holding three beautiful babies that make a heart skip for sure
Your hold on them is strong embrace with Love that’s clearly pure
For this truly was a perfect setting and one I would not take from thee
So forgive me for saying that in my eyes would be perfect if included me
