The Looking Glass

The Looking Glass

A Poem by Cherrie
"

reflections

"

Is it not the joys of childhood that cause us dream?

And is it not those golden days that lace our memory?

Days long lost somehow have paved our way

I see a remnant of that girl on the far side of life’s shore.

With each passing day a new perspective I find

And with each passing day a new decade I climb.

This road I’ve paved leaves me with no fear of tomorrow.

And as I gaze into this reflection I spy a trace of the woman

I hope to find.

A delight to read & for what it is worth, I too spend an increasing amount of time trying to catch a glimpse of the man I once was and also hope to find...
