Perfect Memory

Perfect Memory

A Poem by Cherrie
"

a love song

"

We’ve been a long time in the making

It took a long time dreaming

many a lonely night creating, this perfect memory.

So now that we’re together

 and now we can believe,

As simply as I can, tell you

 baby come to me.

Live in my tomorrows

fill up my todays.

Let’s spend our nights creating this lovely memory.

So now that we're together

and now we do believe

As simply as I can tell you

Baby come to me.

Very optimistic. Yes, the best memories are those where we are sharing out life and happiness. I like the focus on foday and tomorrow though as it is the making of memories that is the most importand aspect of them.

You have used words in such a magical way that I can feel fragrance of pure love floating in the air.

Nice poem, reflective, quiet words of lyrical observation.
