What a jerk

What a jerk

A Poem by Chesney W.

What a jerk.

A cheater.

A player of the game.

I seen him this morning.

He acted like he was hurt.

What he did to me was worse.

He only needed a dance partner.

He asked me to be his.

I said yes.

I was infatuated with his looks.

I warned my best friend about him.

But when it came to me,

I didn't put up the rule.

I let myself down.

He thinks he's some kind of Romeo.

But I was never his Juliet.

I was played.

I was used.

My first kiss was his.

I want to take it back.

But the past is gone.

It cannot be erased.

I made my mistake.

And now I must deal with the consequences.

He does not have the plague.

But he disgusts me everytime.

What a jerk.

A cheater.

A player of the game.

I was used.

And played.

I was a fool.

This is strange in a good way, coz u use imagery really well but with simpler words than u'd usually need for it. Very well done :)
