Life is..

Life is..

A Poem by Chesney W.

Down in spirit.

Down in soul.

Down in mind.

Never giving in.

Never giving up.

Wandering the world.

Wandering the road not taken.

Wandering the place I call home.

Sitting in the dark.

Sitting in the corner.

Finally listening.

Finally coming to realization.

Finally knowing.

Life is simple.

Life is complicated.

Amazing poem! Short, sharp and absolutely to the point. I love the way you contrast certain aspects in this poem. Keep up the fantastic writing!

"Life is simple.
Life is complicated."

Yea. I understand that. It's a beautifully written poem. It reminds me of how little we actually know. No matter what you think you know, there always seems to be a contradiction.

Thanks for sharing.

This is pretty good. The pome is beautiful in its simplicity and your use of contradictions fit well with your description of life.
