My Thoughts, Him.

Waiting as that day approaches.

Hoping it's more than what I think it will be.

Anxious for that feeling I'll get.

 

Thinking about him thinking about me.

Wondering what he thinks of me when I'm not near.

Laughing at myself for the thoughts that come to mind.

 

Picturing him here, now.

Imagining our night together.

Playing through what I'd like to do.

 

Talking to him on the phone,

saying whatever comes to mind,

our conversation is non-stop.

 

Catching myself before I say those three words.

I know I feel this way,

but I want him to say it first, I don't want to regret anything.

 

He's my life,

my world,

my universe.

 

He means more to me than my very family.

He means more to me than any ex ever has.

He means more to me than my close friends.

 

He has my heart,

but does he know it?

I'm sure he does, it's not hard to tell.
