Struggles I go through in life

I'm falling down again, in the world of the abyss

I can’t see, I can’t speak

Chills run down my spine and through my arms

A presence is near but there's no one

I begin to feel numb at my fingertips

I'm paralyzed and can't get a grip, I'm sinking

I'm seeking to find a normal life

But what's normal, no one can identify

I've been inflicted with pain so excruciating

Traveling through me, hitting each nerve

Disturbing me and causing a blur

It gets worse as time goes by

Will these wounds ever heal

Only time will tell, but for me, time stands still

I want to escape and go anywhere

As long as it takes me away from the pain I can't bear.
