It’s like you don’t even care that I cry
For you and all the things you’ve done to me
You used to be
The one who’d come and comfort me
You’d build me up and dry those tears of fear
But I’m alone now
I’m stumbling and falling
Down this twisting, ever-turning road of life.
And I don’t know how long I can take it
Till I fall and end it all.1

Cuz when you leave you take a bit of me with you
Even if you don’t mean to
You’ll take me with you
And it’ll take some time to patch that hole
You left in my soul
And even then the scars’ll be left as reminders2

It’s so frustrating to hear all your lies
It’s weakening, crumbling, you’ll be its demise
And by listening to your silence
I know our friendship is fading and
No matter how long I struggle to stand
I’ll always be left waiting
For you. All for you.3

And it hurts my heart to know the truth.
I’m all messed up inside
And I admit it cuz I don’t like to hide

That’s your choice if you choose it

pretending I don't know you for a moment to give u an honest review lol-
I love this piece. You put alot of heart into very few words and I am captivated by it all. I don't write poems but it doesn't take a poet to reaize the emotion behind this writing and the meaning it must have to you. The pain that we all feel from betrayal...either from a boyfriend/girlfriend/ or best friend when they act against us can be difficult to surmount. You captured all this in a few lines nd I commend you for that. Congratulations, the first writing of yours iv reviewed has been an imense success. Great work and keep on writing.
