Eternal Flame

Eternal Flame

A Poem by Chilson, Joshua
"

From darkness to light with wedding bells.

"
Such a wonder
you chose me
dark, silent.

Pulled into clouds
high above shadows
light, dreams.

Saw the unbroken
past the beaten
voice, seams.

Touched my face
palm against cheek
warm, complete.

Walked the isle
a beautiful ray
sun, moon.

To be mine
and I yours
flame, eternal.

About
I write poetry from life experience, though most won't seem that way as I never get into specifics to the events that bring about my work. I'm a silent individual for the most part which doesn't ma.. more..
