I've got this sinking feeling in my gut,

It tells me no matter how happy I am-

Watch out!

Pretty soon it'll all fade away,

And you'll be stuck where you were yesterday:

In a deep, dark pit of despair,

Running out of air,

And feeling light-headed,

With grief.

I try to tell myself it's not true,

Sure, GOD put us on this earth to serve Him,

But He gives us pleasures, too,

So I'll be happy one day.

It's possible,

It's true.

But on day's like this,

Where it feels like bliss,

I'm just afraid it'll all come crashing down.

This poem, I believe, speaks honestly the feelings many of us have, but do not like to admit. Just because one has doubts does not mean we do not believe and have hope. Very nice written!!!
