goodbye

Ensconced by the shivering cold
I feel nothing but worthless and old
The birds still chirp and sing
But I am deaf
The flowers bloom
But I am blind
The music is playing
But I am paralyzed
The wind blows, blows me away
My only regret is I didn't say
Goodbye

I did like the poem. So much so That I am inviting you to post a copy on my project Called Free Reviews 3. It is on Webook.com. Thats the site that went down last year and now it has been rescued by writers like myself( I did nothing personally). It is an awesome site. Ok, here goes..... It was Fantastic! I enjoyed the contrast and this is an easy read. It flows well. Short and to the point. I must say I like this one better than 'hurting'. This is poetry. Coming from your heart, dripping with emotion, now that is Great Poetry! good job, Chloe.
