Depression

Depression

One day I realise I don't feel the same,
Can't shower, cook the dinner, feeling s****y all day.
Take a trip to the doc to decide my faith,
Quick chat a few tabs go on away you'll feel great.
He said there's no cure but can be treated,
There's no money in cures but there's money in people.
Prescribing millions of tablets around the world each day,
Is making somebody rich while the families pay.

Let's put a stop to this now before it's too late,
We should have the right to decide our own bloody faith.
I pop a few pills wait for them to take effect,
Not knowing suicide is a bloody side effect.
Who are they to decide I should be locked away,
Can anyone bloody realise they made me this way.
They took me when I was feeling low,
Now I'm up & down like a bloody yo yo.
All I want is to be free,
Living life happily.
I want these pills off my shelf,
change the cards I was dealt.
All I want,
Is to take back my mental health.
