Musicgirl

Musicgirl

A Poem by Christian Adriaensen

I know this musicgirl,
she plays my strings.
She makes my mind whirl
when her raspy voice sings.

When she hits the chords so fiery
my heartbeat goes Crescendo,
my reason gets all blurry
and my senses go Allegro.

Piano, Saxo or Guitar…
doesn't really make any difference.
Lucky instruments is what they are
in her hands baffling influence.

The pitch she plays
is so fantastic and her
heavenly Cello-curves
make me go frantic.

I know this musicgirl,
she plays my strings.
She makes my mind whirl
when her raspy voice sings.

A very mature piece of writing, the details in the words really present nice images if you're a fan of anything musical. Really well written!
