Anger is a Poison

Anger is a Poison

A Poem by Christina May Shanaberg

ANGER IS A POISON

Anger is a poison lava, boiling the blood;

Erupting into a sea of violent words;

Hours of happiness can die, in a moment of anger

And its scars can last on the heart, forever;

Arguments accomplish, only, the deliverance of pain,

Like a cloud over our lives, in stagnation, it remains;

Let's destroy the horrible ingredients that could explode

And cause our golden dreams to corrode.

For a short poem it says so much .Words in anger can cost us a relationship of a special friend or loved one. We must learn to stop & think.

Oh My! This is ever so true!
I like this one alot, it states truth.

"Anger is like a criminal it steals and robs you blind
when you don't know it. It is out of control"

Amazing write.
