Love her not too much

I’m too blessed to be stressed but here I am pressed

People only care when you rather they not

You don’t want me to bother you

You hurt me not because you don’t care but because I cared too much

My boundaries only exist in my mind for you

They slip away when I hear your voice

Nonexistent they are and only thought of for you

You’re the only thought on my mind

Relationships disappear as being more than friends are accepted

Friends with no boundaries

How does one not feel when that’s all she’s wanted to do

The feeling mutual she’s never had

Love her not too much

For this would be taboo

Just enough for it to hurt

Even when you’re all she’s got

She only wants to love for the first time

Is she selfish for wanting more

Or is she lacking human connection

Just being you is all she wants but you will never see that

Maybe your presence is present enough

Neither did her last best friend

Getting dumped has little to say for it. There is a lot of anger beneath these lines, which will probably deepen before it ebbs. It is clear the speaker is still hung up on the dumper, though it's plain to see the individual is also thought of as a self absorbed prick. The last lines also contain thinly veiled contempt for the dumper's new interest. The only consolation is that one day the episode may be written off to experience.
