Family?

Family?

A Poem by Rad!0Act!v3 T3ddyB3ar Z0mb!3

Family? They're not my family,

For I do not claim them,

Nor do they claim me,

In fact they call me 'it',

'What is IT doing at the table?'

'Let IT do it.'

"IT has no feelings!'

All those slurrs...hurtful phrases,

They are all common,

They do not hurt me any longer,

They are now just words to me,

They no longer hold meaning,

In fact they make me laugh,

And it makes them mad,

To see that their words no longer harm me,

My smart remarks to the same insults,

It gives me morbid pleasure to see them,

Scrambling to find another insult while I think of plenty,

They are not, nor were they ever, considered my family
