Did my heart love till now?A Poem by Chyla Have you ever had a broken heart? Did my heart love till now? Have I cried a single tear, and faked a single smile? Have I pretended to be ok but deep down I'm breaking? Have I put on a brave front for others even though I want to fall and never get up? Have I walked away and promised to never look back? Did I break that promise? Indeed I have. I have cried, I have faked a smile to please others and I have pretend my world is seemingly perfect even though it is not. Have I been carried out to sea, with no shore insight? Have I loved and lost? Did my heart love till now?
