A short personification poem I wrote about the moon.

Bewitching

She smiles upon the earth, her gentle rays caressing the waves. The midnight witch paints the sky black, so all can sleep.

As time draws on, her reign comes to an end. Letting out one last sigh, she vanishes for the night.

The grey clouds cover her, polluting the sky.

But, one last spell will ensure her ever-lasting rule.

And when morning comes, she'll take her leave.

Only to return when the night comes.

(Hello Miya ;3)
Very nice poem, I didn't realize you were taking about the moon until I read inside the quotes, so great personification! And speaking out which I loved how you personified her with the waves, reign, polluting, and coming back the next night. While all of which I've read in some form or another before, you make it different and unique to you. Look forward to what else you'll write next! ^^
