makiko

A Poem by Circe

figure of elegance
touch of curls
her NF eyes bleed your resolve

cries at night
like we do
pills and spills

shoulders poised, sophistication.
clicking heels
she animates the room

paints with her lashes
searches with her senses

volcanic forces, ocean caresses
when i am no stronger, no closer
we enter in the strangest times

and have the city for dinner

we want more than the drinking of truth
the easy promises of man
those who have been
used
and mesmerised.

dreams are waking up
miss tenderheart

her skin is simply fire

This is another incredible write
so very ragged and real.

Gods Teeth, I'm so glad you are back.

"and have the city for dinner" is a gamebreaker.....although this entire piece is elegant and sophisticated in its imagery, there is a subtle grittiness and realism which permeates the whole feeling it evokes. i love some of these lines you employ as if they were uniquely your own and they ring true to that effect. this is blazingly original and damned near perfect poetry!
